Nicole Richie & Benji Madden at Byron and Tracey Salon Party
Nicole Richie and Joel’s brother Benji Madden were only two of several stars who attended the Byron and Tracey Salon party last night, hosted by salon owners Byron Williams and Tracey Cunningham. Other attendees included Rachel Zoe, Tori Spelling, Dean McDermott, Lisa Rinna, Nicky Hilton and Rose McGowan.

Nicole Richie is a Traffic School Queen
On Wednesday, like clockwork, Nicole Richie attended her weekly traffic school and alcohol education class. She wore the exact same outfit she did the week before (as did her bodyguard!) but you can tell it’s different because of her hair and coffee.

Ali Lohan Dropping Out of School?
Ali Lohan reportedly wants to drop out of school!
According to the February 9 issue of Star Magazine, Ali wants to stay in Los Angeles with big sis, Lindsay – and drop out of her private all-girls high school in Long Island.
Administrators at Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Syosset, NY, where Ali recently registered, are wondering if she plans to return.
Let’s hope she registers for high school in California and graduates high school at least!!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen had a business lunch together with some colleagues at the Soho House hotel in the Meat Packing District in NYC yesterday afternoon. The girls both arrived and left separately.

Update: Beyoncé on Billboard Hot 100
Our girl, Beyoncé Knowles, AKA Sasha Fierce, is still kicking booty on Billboard’s Hot 100! Let me break this all down for you a bit below! Kate Miller-Heidke Announces Caught in the Crowd Shows
One of my favourite albums of 2008 was Curiouser by Kate Miller-Heidke, so I’m pretty excited she’s finally taking her new songs on the road.
The tour coincides with the release of “Caught in the Crowd,” the very different follow-up to “Can’t Shake It.” This sees Kate in introspective mode, dealing with the regret she feels at seeing schoolyard bullying as a child and doing nothing about it.

Friday Flashback: Genie in a Bottle
For this week’s Friday Flashback I wanted to choose the very first Christina Aguilera song I had ever heard. I didn’t get the network that aired the Mickey Mouse Club so I had never heard of Christina until Genie In a Bottle was released.
