Newscaster Sawyer and stage and screen director Nichols have been together since 1988. Nichols, interestingly, has been married four times; Sawyer is wife number 4. She must be doing something right, because this is also the longest-running relationship Nichols has had.

We all remember when Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branagh were the classical acting golden couple; but after their romance fizzled, Thompson found love anew with actor Greg Wise. Wise, who played the cad Willoughby in Sense and Sensibility alongside Thompson, is not, himself, a cad.

Fantasy writer Gaiman and musician Palmer met during the creation of the companion book to Palmer's solo album Who Killed Amanda Palmer. He proposed on January 1, 2010 by drawing a ring on her finger with a Sharpie. They officially wed a year later, but on Gaiman's birthday, Palmer staged a street performance wedding for the two of them. She wore the dress she used to wear while working as a living statue in Boston.
