While shooting W in 2008, Josh Brolin and costar Jeffrey Wright were arrested in connection with a bar brawl at the Stray Cat bar in Shreveport, Louisiana. Details about exactly what happened are a little unclear, but Brolin has said that he's proud to have stood up for Wright, so presumably it was a retaliation of some sort. In any event, it sounds a little more honorable than most bar fights!
Actor Vinnie Jones punched a 24-year-old in the face in 2008-- but only after the guy broke a beer glass over his head first. Note: Things not to do include starting a fight with a 6-foot-tall former footballer. Especially if he's also the Juggernaut, bitch.
The Beef made headlines in February when he got involved in a tussle at Mad Bull's Tavern in LA. After some bloke at the bar called LaBeouf a few choice words, the actor lunged; the other guy apparently had quicker reflexes, though, because he threw the first punch, splitting LaBeouf's lip. When the cops arrived, both men were cuffed, though after both said they didn't want to press charges, they were released.
Jack White has gotten into a few scraps in his time, but his best-known battle is probably his 2003 scrap with Von Bondies singer and guitarist Jason Stollsteimer. Both musicians were attending a record release party at Detroit club Magic Stick when White attempted to talk to Stollsteimer. Stollsteimer refused, after which he claims White threw him to the ground and punched him seven times squarely in the eye. White has since said that Stollsteimer exaggerated the severity of the fight, as well as downplaying his own attack moves. There's nothing quite like feuding musicians...
When Real Housewives was filming in the Dominican Republic back in February, Teresa Giudice popped open a bottle of champagne and proceeded to spray booze all over a hotel bar (classy). Chicago-area cop Adolfo Arreola and his cousin Jason Gomez tried to step in, only to be beaten up by the reality stars, who also smashed some glass over the two men's heads. Subsequently, they're suing the cast, crew, and networks behind Real Housewives.

In August of 2009, Brody Jenner was celebrating his birthday with girlfriend Jayde Nicole at Guys $ Dolls, a club in Los Angeles. When Nicole spotted Girls Gone Wild head honcho Joe Francis harassing a woman, she threw a drink on him. Jenner reported that Francis grabbed Nicole's hair, punched her, threw her to the ground, and started kicking her before security managed to break up the fight. But it doesn't stop there: Jenner followed Francis out as he was ejected from the club and punched him. Then someone stepped in with a taser. Epic!
Earlier this month, Ed Westwick had quite the night out. on Sunday, 5 June, Westwick and his pals hit the bars in New York starting at 11:30pm. By 1:30am, they had arrived at the Westside Tavern on W. 23rd St., where Westwick proceeded to unplug the bars iPod and plug his own in instead. When a woman asked him to leave, he spat some insults at her, prompting her husband to challenge Westwick to a duel. And by "duel," I mean they spent a few minutes shoving each other around outside the bar before going their separate ways.
Hot mess Paz de la Huerta was hit with five misdemeanor charges after attacking model and former The City reality star Samantha Swetra at the bar of New York's Standard Hotel on March 20. De la Huerta allegedly punched Swetra and threw a glass at her; the glass cut her leg. Good thing Lindsay Lohan was on hand to pull out the glass shards.
Do airport bars count? I'm going to say they do. In 2009, Jonathan Rhys Meyers got into a skirmish with employees at a bar at the Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris; then in 2010, he got wasted at JFK and called an airline employee a rather nasty name indeed. Really, Jonathan: What exactly is it that you have against airports?
Johnny Knoxville says he once got stabbed in a brawl outside a bar during a bachelor party. Like Sean Bean, though, instead of heading to the hospital, he went back inside and had another drink. Must be a dude thing.
At 1am on her 24th birthday, Lindsay Lohan tweeted, "A waitress just hit me - punched me for no reason." While sometimes I, myself, would like to walk up to Lohan, punch her, and walk away without another word, I find it unlikely that it was an entirely unprovoked attack; but oh well. I've long since stopped trying to figure out the inner workings of Lindsay Lohan.
In October 2006, Paris Hilton and Shanna Moakler had a scrap of their own at the Hyde Lounge in LA. So many people were involved, including Hilton's exes Paris Latsis and Stavros Niarchos, that it's a little difficult to piece out what actually happened-- it's sort of a big game of he said/she said-- but there appear to have been some angry words, some possible punches and/or slaps, and a couple of drinks tossed onto people. Sounds like fun!
Kiefer Sutherland head-butted fashion designer Jack McCollough at a Met costume gala after party in 2009. Sutherland says it was an effort to protect Brooke Shields-- he claimed McCullough had pushed her over-- but Shields says that McCullough didn't touch her. Whoops.
