13 Fear is Real: Fort Fear

We got a surprise second episode of 13 Fear is Real this week and it’s exciting! The show is moving to Friday nights, so we actually got two episodes in one week!

This time, the guys all decided together that Erica must be the killer. Then the guests were surprised that Mastermind gave them a map and told them to pack up their camp and move to another location.

So they packed everything into their backpacks and headed up the dirt road. When they got to their destination, it was dark. It was an old Fort and looked very haunted. When they got inside, there was a recorder with a note telling them to play the recording. On it, Mastermind told them about their new place. It was an abandoned military fort. They found out that in the 1800s, there were troops trapped inside it by their enemies and when they ran out of food, they had to eat the dead soldiers…cannibalism. Yikes!

Each of them was instructed to take a video camera. They were told to find a place deep within the fort called the Armory and it contained 7 boxes. They would have to find hidden keys throughout the fort, then go open a box to get a “Reprieve.” There were 9 guests and 7 reprieves. So the two who were last would have to go to the Execution Ceremony.

To find the keys, there were disgusting places they had to look. Then, to get to the armory, they had to go past a big, nasty alligator in a tunnel. OMG!!

After all the searching, the two who were too late to find a key were Erica and Kelly. They had both survived execution once before. Then they made camp in the barracks, along with the rats and the spiders.

Meanwhile, the killer was still among them and had two more times to kill. Everyone was also getting really creeped out by the possible ghosts in the place. A bunch of the guys decided to go hunt for ghosts. More and more, the others started to be suspicious of Ted as the killer.

When Mastermind told Kelly & Erica that they should record their final messages and go to the Execution Ceremony, it was still light outside. But when they got to the location, it had become dark. They were blindfolded and bound to stakes among a huge pile of firewood. Then the wood was lit on fire and they were told that they had to escape or would be burned at the stake. Erica once again was the first to escape and that meant that Kelly was eliminated.

This show is certainly original in all the creepy things they make these people do. And the way they figure out the elimination each week is pretty extreme too. I’m thinking that Ted could be the killer. What do you think?
