It sounds kind of like the beginning of a bad joke ("The Doctor, the TARDIS, and a Dalek walk into a bar..."), but I love these ladies. Pretty spins on clunky classics.
Even Death Stars like to dress up on occasion.
I don't know which demon this is or what it's from, but man, that's an impressive costume.
I wouldn't get on the wrong side of this charming kidlet.
Another great feminine twist on a traditionally masculine costume. Also, that's one helluva makeup job.

Oh, wait. It's just an Oompa Loompa. Never mind.
Little did you know that Darth Vader has a sister who's a dominatrix in her spare time.
There's been a lot of really impressive Portal costumes popping up at various cons this year, but I kind of like these ones for their subtlety. Who knew you could be a turret AND be comfortable!
Sure, you could be Mario and Luigi; but isn't it better being Mario and Luigi in Mario Kart? Vroom vroom!
Just in time for The '90s Are All That!
The package of actual Stay Puft Marshmallows is a nice touch. They're caffeinated, by the way; you can get them for about $20 on ThinkGeek.
I don't know about you, but it was years before I figured out that Toadstool was actually a race, not just a strange, singular, anthropomorphic mushroom.
Daniel Radcliffe may have gotten older, but The Boy Who Lived will always be a kid inside!
I'm not entirely sure what this is-- it looks kind of like a steampunk version of a plague doctor-- but whatever it is, it's pretty neat. Fun fact: The beaked masks plague doctors wore is where we get the term "quack" from.
I feel kind of bad for whoever is wearing the No Face costume-- it must be kind of hard to see out of, not to mention hot and stuffy-- but the overall effect is great.
A Mad Magazine classic.
I'm not sure what these guys are doing at Comic-Con, but I'll take it.
