2 “Safety Glass” / “What Goes Up” Trailers

Hilary Duff‘s upcoming movie What Goes Up (Safety Glass) now has out 2 trailers, so I though I would put them in one post so you can see everything there is to know about this movie.

Hilary Duff stars in Safety Glass as Lucy, one of several disaffected students whose hero, their teacher, killed himself under a cloud of scandal. The film is seen through the eyes of a reporter covering the Challenger space shuttle launch in 1986.

The second film trailer, which only recently came out, shows us a little more about the reporter, played by Steve Coogan, and his interactions with the small town. Particularly as he faces the sexuality of the teens at school, including Duff’s character, Lucy. I think it’s a great trailer for the film.

So far both titles are official for the US – this is common as the movie goes through production. Often there is a “working title” or an “alternate title” right up until they’re ready to release. I hope we know which one will be the official release title soon!

I’m not sure about the release date, no! One of the distribution companies says its theatrical, but one of the trailers was made by a DVD company, so I really have no idea yet!

Arieanna do you have any idea about the release date? Is it straight to DVD or will it get a cinema release?!
