I have had tons of emails asking about the 2009 Disney Channel Games. You guys want to know when they are and who’s going to be there. I did some digging and here is what I found (via Wikipedia and various other sites). Remember, this information CAN change and probably will!
2009 is supposed to be the biggest Disney Channel Games ever! It will air during “Summer Rocks” and will include 8 Outrageous Events, the Opening Ceremonies and Closing Ceremonies, 2 DCOM’s and Another Wish Gone Amiss all air during summer 2009. The DC Games will total 13 Episodes.
There will be 4 teams and I have heard that the Jonas Brothers will be there. That’s all I know for now, as far as who’s going to participate.
Here are the dates that were listed on Wikipedia. I already know that part of this schedule is wrong because it has Princess Protection Program airing in August and it’s supposed to premiere in January. But I thought I would post it anyway and we’ll see later what’s correct.

hey there u might want to get ur facts straight…first of all thier will be no disney channel games this year due to disneys busy schedule….instead they are doing another charitable event which is the whole disney going green thing that you will be able to vote online for once more details are realesed

Sorry everyone… I love dc games too, but disney executives said the games won’t be taking place this year, and due to the popularity of disney stars, they are doing a charitable initiative involving all disney and disney xd stars! Sorry again!

i so love disney channle it is the best tv show in the world and i like watching jonas ,wizerdes , movies,hannah motana ,sonny with chance and all so thank you for making our world being happy for making disney channle .

My name is Carter Thiero. I’m thirteen years old. Why was the 2009 Disney Channel Games canceled? Is it because you don’t want the Disney Channel stars and there fans to go there last summer? Me and my mom went to five different Subway shop to find the Disney Channel Games coupons, for two weeks. And most of all we found one more subway shop and it had the Disney Channel Games coupon. Then I got so excited to go last summer. I mailed it and I wrote a letter to have my friends there:Jared,Sam,Sarah,Austin,Luciano,Joey and Brian. I want Jared and Sam to be on the on the Inferno team. I want Sarah and Austin to be on the Cyclones team. I want Luciano and Joey to be on the Comets team. And I want Brian and I to be on the Lightning team. Then I found out that the 2009 DC Games was Canceled. Do you think maybe you can do the 2010 DC Games next summer? If you do it I’ll be very excited to go there with my friends. Thank you very much.
p.s. This is Carter’s mom….just wondering if you received his coupon entry form and letter. He actually drew costumes of the teams(which he does frequently) and enclosed them as well. He’s a huge D.C. fan. It’d be really nice if someone wrote him back. He’s been writing letters and mailing them to several different addresses which all have been returned unopened…to his great disapointment. It was wonderful when he started watching the video online of the DC Games, about a month ago. I was happy he could see them over and over (which kids in the autism spectrum do.
