What makes a true hero?
Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) lost his time-travelling powers in “Duel” when he tried to stop Arthur Petrelli from developing a formula that would give post-human abilities to ordinary people. Sidekick and ever-loyal friend Ando Masahashi (Jason Kyson Lee) came to Hiro’s rescue, by injecting himself with the formula, and taking on the powers of a ‘super-charger’. Anyone who touches Ando will have his powers amped up.
In the mid-season opener of “Heroes Volume 4: Fugitives”, four months passed and the threats are gone. Hiro Nakamura and Ando Masahashi move on with their lives but this time, they switch roles. Hiro is training Ando how to use his power for good, and become a true hero.
Super-Ando and his sidekick Hiro demonstrate the 5 marks of a true hero.
1. Cool powers and hot wheels.
2. A sidekick : Hiro (a geeky one is extremely handy)
3. A costume. (No way!)
4. Villains (or a friend in need)
5. A mystery waiting to be solved.
