This guy's made a profession out of enabling low-rate celebrities! Even though his show is called Celebrity Rehab, instead of actually treating troubled stars for their substance abuse and other issues, he just encourages their real addiction: Thinking they're famous.
While he suffered from health problems at the end of his life, Gary didn't seem to have any sort of professional caretaker beyond his live-in ex-wife Shannon Price. That's why it's still so baffling that during the 911 call after he collapsed, she kept saying she couldn't stop the bleeding or even approach his body, because all the blood made her nauseous. Oh, and she couldn't drive him to the hospital because she'd had a fever. This all sounds really suspicious, no?
Dina is just the worst. If you don't believe us, just look at her daughters, repeat-offender jailbird Lindsay and probable anorexic and plastic surgery addict Ali. Even when LiLo is struggling with addiction and bad behavior, you see Dina taking her out clubbing as some bizarre reward (or just the desire to keep their family in the public eye). When Linds was en route to rehab, Dina reportedly coached her on getting out of random drug tests. And yet, in her memoir she denies that she had any responsibility in Lindsay's fucked-up life!
Susan Strasberg, who was friends (and sometimes rivals) with Marilyn Monroe once described her mother as a "combination delicatessen, pharmacist, Jewish mother." Paula was Marilyn's acting coach and confidante until the star's death in 1962, though if the new movie My Week with Marilyn (pictured) is anything to go by, Paula overindulged Marilyn's whims and kept her medicated most hours of the day.
It's clear that Heidi Montag's plastic surgeon didn't give her ten radical surgeries in one day because he thought she needed them, or even because he thought her desire to change her appearance was valid. It's because he got a huge whopping paycheck and plenty of other bimbos who wanted his services! His shocking death in 2010--by a car crash in LA--makes the story even more chilling.
Howard's abuse of power over reality star Anna Nicole Smith is just disgusting, as he was her boyfriend and her lawyer. Thank God that after her death, a jury found him guilty of "repeatedly and excessively furnished thousands of prescription pills to Anna Nicole Smith, often for no legitimate medical purpose" and obtaining some of her medications in his own name. We're really glad he turned out to not be the father of her poor child Dannielynn.
