Update: 80's Star Corey Haim Dead At 38

Last year it was John Hughes and Patrick Swayze, and now another 80’s idol is dead. Corey Haim, star of Lost Boys, died early this morning in Los Angeles of an apparent drug overdose. He was 38. [Los Angeles Times]

Update: TMZ reports that Corey had been sick for the last few days with “flu-like symptoms.” He passed out at his mother’s house last night, and several prescription drug bottles were found nearby. His mother was at home at the time, she called an ambulance, but Corey was pronounced dead when he arrived at the hosptial. [TMZ]
