As reported earlier, Gilmore Girls producer Rebecca Kirshner joined 90210 as executive producer. She’s been receiving a lot of early praise for her work, bringing out episodes that are “sharper and funnier”, and which are a “vast improvement” over previous scripts.
According to Ausiello, another Gilmore Girls producer is heading to 90210 too! Gayle Abrams recently joined the 90210 writers’ room – Gayle was co-exectuive producer on 22 episodes of Gilmore Girls. Together they’re sure to make the show a lot sharper than it currently is.
