Toronto native and 90210 star Shenae Grimes (Annie) presented an award at the 23rd Annual Gemini Awards on Friday in Toronto — honoring the best in Canadian television.
What made her appearance unique was that fellow native Canadian Jason Priestley was hosting the awards show. Priestley played Brandon Walsh on the original Beverly Hills, 90210 show and will be behind-the-scenes directing a few future episodes of the new 90210. While in Canada, both Shenae (a Degrassi: The Next Generation alumni) and Jason talked to Virgin Radio Toronto. Shenae’s interview ranged from paparazzi and the "too skinny" rumors, while Jason talked about hosting the Gemini Awards and directing 90210 instead of starring on the show.
