A Boy on the Way for Kyle MacLachlan

Kyle MacLachlan and his wife of six years Desiree are expecting a baby boy in July. The couple announced the pregnancy in February, but Kyle revealed the gender when he appeared on Regis & Kelly yesterday.

“It’s a boy. I’ve got the golf clubs out already, so we’re going to make him into a little golfer,” Kyle said.

Now the gender’s confirmed the couple is trying to decide on a name.

“She shot down my first idea: Jethro. She didn’t like that idea. Being from Scotland, he could be like, MacIntosh MacLachlan. You want a nickname that’s going to be cool.”

I hope he’s joking about MacIntosh! Jethro isn’t much better, so I hope Desiree has some more appealing ideas!
