A Britney Endorsed Furniture Deal Scrapped

These days it seems as if all celebs are endorsing something and in other cases even owning entire lines of product but the one Jamie Spears has been working on was called off in the last minute.

According to the NYP Jamie has been working along with Danish entrepreneur Claus Hjelmbak on an endorsement deal for a line of shabby-chic Scandinavian furniture – specifically, creating a piece called a “Woofy.”

So what is “Woofy?”

“It was a plastic dog that retails for over $200 and hides electrical wires in your home. Britney wanted to do a pink-and-blue Woofy.”

Well, Jamie had apparently called off the deal because he felt “uncomfortable” with the offer. “Jamie had felt as if Britney was taken advantage of and wasn’t going to let that happen…”
