On May 18th, a glowing and very pregnant Nicole Kidman attended the Country Music Awards with her husband Keith Urban. I love this picture of her showing off her belly. She really does look happy to be pregnant doesn’t she? I am so excited for these two and am hoping this is one Hollywood marriage that does last.
Urban was up for all nomination in all the major categories this year, but he met some stiff competition. He was nominated alongside Kenny Chesney for Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the year. Did urban win any awards? Sadly, no, but at least he had a beautiful wife and soon-to-be born baby to go home with!

Absolutely in love! Keith and Nic are a wonderful couple.
And in every picture, she is touching her tummy. Love that. I think she just looks wonderful. I don’t think much of most ‘hollyweird’ marriages but this one may go the distance. Better for them to live out of Nashville than Hollyweird tho.
I am SO VERY HAPPY for her that she got a second chance at love and another shot at a healthy marriage. She is quoted as saying that her divorce to TC was a severe blow and shocking so I am pleased that she gets another chance to be a mother and a wife….and she indeed looks quite content!!
She always dresses SO elegant! You can tell she is wealthy beyond imagine.
You’re right, when she lays off the botox, she looks a tad more human.

She looks much better now that I think she has stopped using botox but I still don’t like the hair. She should go back to being red.
In every pic she is touching her tummy…probably to show off her bump because she is fade up with the baby bump watch by the media.

Anyone that has ever been pregnant knows that touching your “baby bump” is natural. It is the start of our mothering. In fact 99.99% of us do not realize that we are doing it.
I remember I was always touching my belly, especially when I was carrying my first. It was incredible knowing that life was growing inside in me.
I can’t wait to see the baby pics as well as Connor and Bella with their new sibling. They are great older siblings. Hopefully, they won’t be sent to Scientology Summer Camp this summer and will be permitted to stay with their mom!
If their mom wants to spend time with them then I’m sure Connor and Bella will spend time with her. I say its upto the mother, especially when she has a join custody and the media to use as her disposal. Like someone here said before I’ll walk on fire for my children!
Nicole is WAY too mature to get petty in the media. She will let tc “win” before she drags her children through the mud.
She is ALWAYS available for her children and when she is allowed to see them she does.
I know this for a fact. No “link” can be provide.
The fact is they are her children who she should be involved. She doesn’t need to get petty in the media she can this privately……
The fact is if she cared enough she will see them end of!
Another fact is we don’t know if she does or doesn’t see them.
And she recently said nothing but nice things about the father of her children in the media.
Here is a quote from NK.
“People fall out of love, they do.When children are teenagers, they have a say in where they want to be. Los Angeles is a big draw, and I’m looking to get a place there so we can share more.”
So let hope she gets a place in LA.
Let’s all hope that NK does get that place in LA so she can be nearer to her kids.
She has said Bella and Conor love living with their father but I think she should and would want to be
nearer to them.
Australia might be home to her and Keith but she has children that should come first.
NK said on the show Extra that she moved to Tennessee for her personal life, maybe now she’ll move back to LA to be nearer to her older kids.
NK has always praised Tom as a father and a very attentive caregiver.
hopefully, she will continue to be a private person. that’s one of the reasons she’s respected. she doesn’t put it all out there for people to gossip about LOL.

I think NK garnered a lot of goodwill when TC divorced her. Hollywood and the public at large felt for her.
Over the years she has put a lot of it out there especially when giving interviews to the Australian press/magazines.
Maybe as Mary says there’s more NK gossip in Australia since that’s her home base. Life goes on and they both seem happier now, but in my mind they both forgot one thing. When you have kids, it stops being about you and becomes about the kids. I believe she remembered she was a mother first. If the gossip is true, TC forgot that he was a middle-aged father of two growing kids since he was acting like an 8th grader himself.
These two are so good for each other, you can just see it! I think they should have been together from the start, but then they might not have appreciated each other as much as they do today. God works in mysterious ways and in the end, it turned out well for them. Hurry up baby, we cant wait to see you!
I have nothing against NK, actually I like her but I happen to think she is NOT perfect just like everybody and what gets to me is the people who criticize Tom try to make her sound like a “victim” and someone perfect and private but that is not the case.

Was she private with her Wedding? In fact she did put her wedding “out there”, first announcing the date way before the wedding….and had a wedding which was described as a “royal wedding” by the media here with her waving to the crowed and all.
Honeymoon pictures were everywhere.
Just 4 months after his marriage to NK, her husband released a statement that said he entered rehab.
She announced her pregnancy just after 3 months, not that there is anything wrong with that since she was excited and wanted to share the good news, but I would think a private celeb would actually keep that private until she started showing at least and the fact that she had problem getting pregnant and carrying to full term in the past would have made her keep the pregnancy to herself but no she didn’t.
And if the rumors are true she is going to pose nude while pregnant.
She did take her children to an award show watched by millions…
Last but not lease one of my least favourite thing about NK is the fact that she opened up about her past for a cover of Vanity Fair.
Lets see Tom Cruise has been dogged by rumors about ability to father his own children for over 15 years but he still kept the fact that he and NK had a miscarriage to himself…..not once had he used that for publicity…he kept that private even though it would have help ease those rumors. I remember Tom and NK sued a newspaper in Europe that had published that they can’t have children….and they won but nothing was made public.
And after all those years NK decided to talk about it now when she is good and ready for her own purpose.
I think my admiration and respect for Tom grow after that, here is a guy who could have used this way back when he need to for his publicity but chose to keep his pain private, regardless of what people were saying.
So, please don’t say that she is private and that she “doesn’t put it out there”…she plays the publicity game just like other celebrities.

The thing with gossip these days they travel FAST thanks to the internet and the tabloid magazines. It doesn’t matter where she gives the interview, the fact is its out there.
I always wondered why TC never talked about the ectopic pregnancy NK (they) suffered and I think is because of Bella (and Connor). Like Tyler said When you have kids, it stops being about you and becomes about the kids.
YAWN! who cares about these two, not me.
Are we discussing TC the saint who dumped his pregnant wife via his personal assistant? Or Tom the Saint who when he or his current wife need PR for a movie or something pull their two year old out of bed at night for photo ops?
Either way both are very open now about their private lives. I would say Cruise is more so than Nicole. Difference is Nic does not pull Bella and Connor out into the press every month to make her new stud look like Father of the Year and Cruise look like a bad parent. I would respect Cruise and Holmes more if they were willing to recognize publicly that these kids have MOM and it is not Holmes. Cruise has never, that I have read, ever said Nic is a good mother. Certainly not recently!!
Katie’s dig at Nicole in the PARADE article was obnoxious, immature, and petty. And then to make sure they were all at the soccer game with Holmes the day before Mother’s Day was another slap in Nic’s face. When was the last time they all attended a professional soccer game together-NEVER! Yes, that was all staged because Cruise knew what the media would say about that one. And the media responded exactly how Cruise hoped: Katie the great step-mom and Nic the bad mother.
Nicole, because she has class, ignored both. That does not mean it did not hurt her.
Nicole only announced her pregnancy because she quit a movie role and the media kept hounding her about it. Remember, she initially denied the pregnancy rumors. She only discusses TC because the media keeps asking her in interviews. And the rehab stories would have come out, so they did the damage control.
Also, TC and KH released their wedding photos to everyone and their mother and were quite public with their wedding plans. They did the same with Suri. I still think after a very public pregnancy they hid Suri to make more of a demand for her photos.
Besides they could not compete with Jolie for attention for Suri, who was born shortly before Shiloh. Sorry, but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are more of a draw than Tom Cruise and his unknown wife. Katie is still known as Mrs. Tom Cruise and Suri’s mother. Personally, I never heard of her before Cruise hooked with her.
By the way, Nic and Keith were in L.A. this week. Wonder if Cruise really let her see her kids. He brushed off Oprah when she asked him how often Nic sees them by saying “Whenever.”
How often has Nic been in L.A. and the media did not report it? You forget, she films movies there all the time.
According to Scientology, Nic is SP because she left Scientology. I am sure Bella and Connor are taught that. There are numerous stories on-line of parents cut-off by their ex-spouse and chidlren because they left Scientology. With how immersed Cruise is in this religion, I am sure he keeps Nic at a distance from Bella and Connor. I sure hope Katie is taking notes now, because when she is replaced, the same will happen with Suri and her!!

Just wondered how NK could possibly be SP because she left Scientology…….She herself has denied taking up that religion. Also if she is supposedly SP, the kids would supposedly never be allowed to see her. They attended her wedding to KU, visited her on the set of Australia and The Invasion, have gone to basketball games and the Nickelodeon awards shows etc with her.
NK herself has said that her kids are old enough now to have a say in what they want.
Also there were pics released of NK/KU’s wedding which was equally as big in coverage as the TC/KH nuptials.
Photographs got close enough to take pics of NK kissing KU on a bench at a supposedly private rehab facility and again on honeymoon at a supposedly private resort.
People have been waiting for Katie to be replaced since April 2005…………….They are still waiting.
I don’t think NK is that private either……………She puts a lot out there in her interviews.

Another thing, in the past few years NK’s movies were filmed either in Australia or Europe. I don’t remember the last time she filmed a movie in LA.
Actually I think it was when she dating Lenny Kravitz and there was a pic of the two with her kids in LA.
I do think NK gained much good will with the Kidman/Cruise divorce but I think much of that was erased with her constantly talking about Tom at every turn and it made many people notice. It wasn’t just a random comment here and there, it was constant on her side.
Both she and Tom are now remarried and both appear happy in their unions………They have both moved on and maybe we should too.
Mary, most blogs speak positively of her, well, except for the botox. I do agree with you, however, that she came out of the divorce looking better than tom cruise. I don’t think anyone can dispute that fact.
Tyler in recent years it has been not only about the alleged use of Botox.
I do think she’s being scrutinized more but one can argue that is now true of many celebrities.
NK has said much over the years and many are pointing out the inconsistences/contradictions in much of what she’s said.
I don’t know where you get this stuff, but I certainly haven’t seen any of it. Maybe there’s more of it in Australia, but not in the U.S.

Tia, you have made valid points about NK. The only stuff that makes headlines in her interviews is what she says about TC. To that extent, I think she uses him for her publicity. She is considered private because we rarely hear about her. There is nothing to tell. If TC wanted he could talk about those miscarriages. He chooses not to.
NK is not private, she is just not newsworthy.

Tyler, she is on blogs for what? Pregnant pictures, red carpet, that is standard. She is no headliner. Katie’s latest hairstyle will get a cover which NK’s collapse would not.
Ashlee Simpson is a no body and she is more news worthy than NK. I have nothing against her as a person. She seems really nice. But fact is fact, this is showbusiness. Unfortunately, she does not have much to show. Her bump is old news, maybe when the baby arrives or she splits with her hubby.
You have a point, but I think it’s because KH married into royalty of sorts. Same thing happened when Princess Diana, a nobody like Katie, married royalty. Same idea. People like “rags to riches” stories. They’re intriguing.
i wish the best for nicole and her husband keith; may their marriage last, and if it means they’ll be less newsworthy, i really don’t think they’ll care. nicole’s films might not have been all blockbusters or popular hits, but she has received good to great critical reviews for many smaller budget films, and numerous awards, and rave reviews for her part in the blue room…
if the likes of britney spears, paris hilton, amy winehouse, lindsay lohan, anna nicole smith…..are what qualifies as newsworthy, i’d rather be boring. i agree that rags to riches storeis can be intriguing, but so can the simply scandalous!
Julie, why do you keep posting photos/articles about Nicole Kidman and her new husband? Especially when it has nothing to do with Bella and Connor? Afterall this is a Tomkat site and Tom and Nicole divorced over 8 yrs ago…isn’t it about time we moved on and separated the two? Unless the pics/news has something to do with the children they share, you shouldn’t post news on this couple here, unless of course you want a repetitive never-ending circular discussion on every thread!!
I agree Tyler, Rags to riches stories are intriguing but you have to admit that there is a reason why Princess Diana was more intriguing than the Duchess of York for example. I agree Katie’s fame is largely attached to the fact that she is the wife of Tom Cruise but you I doubt Penelope Cruz would have garned the same response even if Tom Cruise had jumped on the couch for her. There is something intriguing about her. Who is she, is she a strong person, a weak person, does she like all this, is she as nice as every one says, how does she fit into Tom’s crowd?
Sometimes I wonder if people would have had the same reaction to this relationship had it been say Ashlee Simpson or Michelle Williams or Busy Phillips.

I think the difference between let’s say Penelope Cruz and Katie Holmes is that Penelope comes across as a mature woman whereas Katie is still acts like a little girl. It looked as if TC almost literally robbed the cradle. Now, she’s changed her voice a little, but before she even sounded like a girl out of grammar school. So, I agree that people are wondering who she is. It’s almost like she’s playing dress up with her daddy’s money. I know this sounds harsh, but it’s true.
Tyler I can’t see many women who could have handled themselves with as much decorum as Katie Holmes has shown these past three years.
She has been called every insulting word you can think of and yet she has not lashed out at anyone. Everything she says, does or wears has been and is analyzed to death.
I think many people are very surprised she and TC both have managed to maintain their integrity through the hell they’ve been put through these past three years.
Yes, that is a bit harsh but then I’m not surprised coming from you. You guys (critics) would say just about anything to get at TC and his fans.
I’m a year younger than Katie and I find nothing about the two looks anything like what you just said.
Like Jamie Foxx said TC should share his magic beans with the rest of the world and I hope TC keep on being TC and comes out on top.
