Thanks to Dawn for a heads up that “A Single Woman” has been released on DVD and can be purchased from the movie’s producers. As you probably recall, this is the movie about the life of Jeanette Rankin that has Patricia Arquette as one of the narrators.
Even if you already saw the movie and weren’t completely blown away by the story of this amazing woman’s life, you may want to look into it just for one of the bonuses Dawn heard about – wallpaper downloads. Or you may want to buy a DVD of the portion of the movie that Patricia Arquette narrated instead of the whole thing.

Thanks for sharing this, Katelyn. I’d really like to see this movie get a lot more notice because I think it really is a remarkable piece of filmmaking. But as you said, if everyone isn’t interested in the story of Jeanette Rankin, then the dvd of the story that Patricia narrates is truly worth the cost, because it tells another beautiful story, featuring stunning artwork by Paul Mellender and exquisite voiceover work by Patricia Arquette. And the wallpaper downloads are beautiful too.
I’ve got the one called “They Looked Like Men” on my laptop now.
A beautiful piece of artwork.
