Personally, I don’t know anyone who was swept off their feet at all by Aaron Rose’s character on Gossip Girl. He was just so …. blah! Why would Serena fall for him and why would Blair make the comment that he was hot?

According to Watch with Kristin, The CW has confirmed that Aaron (played by John Patrick Amedori) will not be returning to the Upper East Side with Serena.

Even though he was a big character in the book, sources are telling Kristin what we already know: The Aaron character on television just wasn’t doing anything for anyone.

Does that mean Dan and Serena will get back together?

Well, in the new spoiler clip The CW released, it does appear that Dan (Penn Badgley) and Serena (Blake Lively) will at least have a mini reunion as gossipgril1020 noted in the comments to the post that after pausing it: Dan comes out of his bedroom and kisses Serena like they are dating.

But don’t do a happy dance just yet.

Jessica Szohr told Kristin at E! that Serena and Dan "are running in circles in their relationship."

Plus, we know that in the near future, Dan will catch the interest of a hot, young teacher played by Laura Breckenridge.

So just like with Blair and Chuck, they take two steps forward, and then immediately, two steps back.

Still, I can’t wait to watch the new episode on Monday, January 5.

I do want Cyrus Rose (Wallace Shawn) to stay. Marrying Eleanor is going to give Cyrus a lot of possible storylines and he’s fun to watch. It’s even more fun to watch what will happen between Blair and Cyrus!
