Well, now we’re getting somewhere! Here is actual footage of the location used for the exterior of Slughorn’s house in Half-Blood Prince. The house, situated in Lacock, England, was used for shooting in October 2007 – you can see it about halfway through the video:
What do you think? Interesting. I’m looking forward to seeing the interaction that Slughorn, played by Jim Broadbent, brings to the Half-Blood Prince.

Anyway- the house seems cool- I’d love to own it! Of course, now they’ll probably be getting a lot of visitors which wouldn’t be that nice haha.
