Adam Sandler a Pushover for Sadie and Sunny

Adam Sandler makes us all laugh on screen, but he doesn’t take a break once the cameras stop rolling. In fact, he spends plenty of time trying to amuse his two-year-old daughter Sadie.

Adam says he’s walked around the house in a tutu and even broken “expensive stuff in the house just to see her smile.”
When Sadie gets fussy the reasoning is left up to Adam’s wife Jackie.

“My wife is good at controlling it and saying ‘Why are you upset?’”

Adam, on the other hand, just wants to cheer the tot up at any cost!

“I’m just like, what is it? What do you need? Let’s do it! Alright, I’ll put that on for you,” explains the actor.

But now that Sadie’s getting older, Adam wonders whether he should have played bad cop once in a while!

“I look back at the 2 ½ years of being a dad to Sadie and I realize I think I could have done a little more discipline. Kid’s losing her mind a little bit!” he joked.

He’s also happy for Sadie and his new daughter, five-week-old Sunny, to stay little for as long as they can!

“The conversations I have with my friends give me stomach aches. The stories I hear with my single friends: ‘The night I was with this girl…’ And I’m just like, ‘Oh God, no.’ So yeah, it kind of ruined my life…or changed it!”

Jackie and Adam have no immediate plans to expand the family, but in time Adam hopes to try for a baby boy.
He says it’s hard to “imagine the world that Adam Sandler wouldn’t have a son in,” but adds “[I] want to give mom a little break – she’s doing a lot of work. So we’ll see. Hopefully I’ll be alive still.”
