With news of Brad Pitt being in the process of adopting Angelina’s two kids, ETOnline compiled a nice little list of others who have gone the adoption route before Brad.
Along with Angelina, who of course adopted four-year-old Maddox and her infant daughter Zahara, “Ally McBeal’s” CalistaFlockhart adopted her son Liam in 2001.
Other Adopting Celebs include:
Michelle Pfeiffer who was not yet married when she adopted her daughter Claudia Rose 12 years ago.
Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise adopted their daughter Isabella in 1993 and their son Conner two years later.
Sharon Stone adopted her oldest son Roan in 2000 this year adopted another son, Laird.
Barbara Walters has an adopted daughter a decision she made after trying to have one of her own stating that “miscarriages were emotionally and physically and adoption seemed to be the best course.”
I think it’s wonderful that stars are coming forward and adopting children who might otherwise not have much of a chance at all.
