I love these pictures of Suri Cruise! Her and momma Katie Holmes were spotted shopping for a Halloween costume for Suri. Take a look at this cutie.
I am guessing she is a princess of some sort?! She looks so much like Katie to me in the picture above.
Katie and Suri spent the day shopping and running errands in Boston, Mass. where Tom Cruise is filming “Knight & Day”. At one point Suri is seen wearing a red dress, cardigan and the same gold shoes as the picture above. Looks like mom and tot had one fun day together.

Finally, a casual outfit on KH that I think looks good. Nice combo…..gray and black with the great wide leg jeans and hat….much better today Katie. Suri is so pretty…love to see her hair with a barrette in it….some day she will probably be a model….I hope she is blessed with Katie’s height and not toms!!

She is such a cute thing. I don’t understand people who complain about the heels, they are made for kids, hence their size, sheesh.

Just because something is made for kids doesn’t mean its good for kids. That’s all.
Those shoes are not play shoes– they look like the real deal taylored to her size. It is one thing for a child that age to play around the house in play high heels but another completely to wear real heels out and about everywhere. Cute but in my view, and as the mother of 2 daughters, you don’t want your daughter to grow up too fast. Things like make-up, high heels, etc should come at a more age appropriate stage. I’ve not seen ANY pictures of any other celeb child doing something like this.
I tend to agree C Mom. Its ok to play in heels but it appears as if suri is wearing heels now on a fairly regular basis. Quite honestly, I am glad she is not my child, she appears to be quite determined and obstinate to me, too much of a stubborn little girl. Glad Katie has to manage her daily and not me!!!
You know , I bet if a relatives, friends, or neighbours child walked around the shops or the neighbourhood once or twice a week in those shoes, we’d all have a chuckle and say something like ‘that little girl loves those shoes’ ,but because it’s Suri its become a for and against topic worlwide.
For me, as long as she doesn’t wear them out everyday out, it doesn’t bother me, I find it sweet. It’s all in keeping with the rest of her, her cute little handbags, her little make up bag, filled with lip glosses, her painted nails, princess dresses, she’s adorable. Has anyone noticed with what style she uses her finger to get the hair out of her face. I agree with Jenna, Suri will become a model, movie star, something that will stand out, for sure!
Annie’s right. This child is growing up in the cocoon of Hollywood. She might become another Drew Barrymore (albeit without some of the baggage of course).
They look great, and I must say that Katie really has a great way of spending time with her daughter. They seem to really have bonded from the way Suri likes to hold onto her mom. The unnatural part of the picture is the obvious awareness that Suri has of the paparazzi. That is starting to make me wonder about the affects it is having on her. Paps can take a picture from far away, I think they encrouch a little too much on their personal space during a time when a mother is doing a most natural thing–taking a walk with her daughter.
Haven’t ever written on here but I can’t help myself. I, for one, think Suri appears to have parents who encourage her to express herself. Hats off to them! As for the high heels, who cares? She wears them out and good for her. It’s a rare mom who lets their children pick their own clothing. Aside from encouraging independence and confidence, it can be a great learning tool. Besides, if her feet hurt, she’ll stop wearing them…simple as that. Play makeup? Again, who cares? She’s pretending! She doesn’t look like a harlot, just an adorable little girl dressed in her Halloween costume.
As for Suri being determined and obstinate…I must say the judgement of this little girl has started at too young an age. Unless a person has actually met the child, I think that judgement is not only unfair but highly presumptuous. Besides, I think determination is a great quality. As for the paps, that’s a whole other topic…lol.
One thing I will say for Katie is I have really enjoyed seeing pictures of them spending time together. I like the pics in Australia most because they seemed to show Suri acting more like a child and actually interacting with other children from time to time and wearing play clothes and shoes with her hair combed-most of the time. When Katie and Suri are around where Tom is however, she appears back in the fancy dresses and now high heels and the blankets come back along with the newborn baby BOTTLES. OMG That child is technically almost 4 years old and still not apparently potty-trained or completely off the newborn style bottles!!!! (and I know THIS is the piece you will all go–there she goes again–lol but I say technically almost 4 because I believe her actual birthday is probably in Dec-Jan not April) –of course I believe Suri is both Tom and Katie’s child-Why they screwed around with the birthdate–I do not know.
I am so glad to see that Katie’s mom is spending much more time with her and Suri. I really believe Katie needs her mom more than ever right now and maybe her mom will help her get Suri thru some of these training issues and I don’t know but perhaps she can also help Katie thru what looks like-to me anyway- a rather rough patch lately. She seems to look troubled and sad more lately. (Now don’t all of you jump on me at once!) I think from most of my posts you could clearly see that I am a fan of Katie and Suri’s..
Hi Concerned Mom
Firstly, I will start by saying that I personally believe that Suri was born on her bithday 18th April. Ithink all these conspiracies about her are so silly. I remember seeing Maria Shriver on tv , I believe she is connected in some way to the hospital Suri was born in , and I saw her send her best wishes to Tom and Katie and also verifying that Suri was born there. Now unless she is in the conspiracy theory too, why would she of all people lie.
Secondly I’ve seen those pics of Suri with her bottle, but I have also seen pics of her with a sippy cup, drinking soft drink and water from the bottle s and have seen her drinking take away hot chocolate, and when she goes with her mother to coffee shops , she has babychinos, or at least she did in Melbourne.
Lately she’s been wearing a lot of leggins, there doesn’t seem to be a line or bulk connected with diapers. I have also seen pics of Violet Affleck with what looked like a diaper or training pants recently and she is older than Suri. Kingston has a pacifier and Btittanys kids still have everything
Suri is always , always singled out for everything. The other day there was a pic of Matilda Ledger being held by her mother and there was a definite bulk there , but nobody mentioned it.
Suri and her blanket or blankets have been around forever, Ialways found it amusing how Tom used to have one thrown over his shoulder all the time. I also think its security for her where the paps are concerned, you can see that Suri is trying to deal with the paps any way she can.
I do think that she is spoilt , and a little babied , but maybe she’s clingy.
All little kids are different , and all grow up with privacy but with Suri the paps are everywhere , in the street , lurking closeby on her mother and fathers movie sets, they take pics that you don’t know in what context they are taken. It’s awful!
Now, for Katie, she has changed , she’s a very pretty girl, but doesn’t always come across as being very happy with her lot sometimes, and wearing black grey and white all the time and the hair although better is still not right, because Katie herself doesn’t take the trouble sometimes to fix it.
We now have the same hair length , so I know what you can quite quickly come up with , so it looks nice, instead of sticking it under a beanie or beret everyday.
And now their faith, for the first time I m going to say it doesn’t seem too nice, if it asks you to disconnect from loved ones, for whatever reason.
No more said, other than its a worry!
Tom, I don’t really know who the real Tom is, there is so much written, so much said , so much speculated so many truths or untruths , that I really don’t know, so I’m always left wondering a bit about him, but for Katies and Suris sake I hope he’s a nice guy and a loving husband and father!
I am not seeing the pics you two are speaking of where Suri is wearing a diaper….I see her in leggings and I am not observing any sort of padded diaper underneath. And, I have not noticed her drinking from a bottle in any recent pics. I do believe that Suri is a challenging child and I wrote earlier that I am gald she is not mine!!! In addition, I would never want TC as a husband! His public persona is wonderful and very gracious, but I also see in him a very hyper, and inflexible alpha-male type of personality, a personality I would not wish to marry. I imagine it can be very overwhelming being married to Tom Cruise! No thanks
Heels are so not appropriate for a child. Doesn’t Katie read all the reports of damage from wearing heels? Also, It is just something you look forward to your teen coming of age and acquiring their first high heels.
In response to Sharon, Suri’s a typical three year old. The difference here in my opinion is that her parents treat her like a china doll. You see other celeb parents out and about with their kids and the kids are part of the family. When we see the Cruises out with Suri, they’re always focused on her. It doesn’t appear normal and I believe why there’s such a stir surrounding this child. They created it.
I think Tom and Katie are both obsessed with Suri in a major way, I somehow think it went back to before she was even born , hence the ulrasound he bought so they could see her and monitor her.

I also believe that it would be a major pressure co-parenting with Cruise. To me, he just seems the type that would be the “final say” in all matters child-rearing. I always get that vibe from him. He is very gregarious and kind in public but I do feel that there is anotehr side to him, a much darker, more controlling and obstinate side. I realize that sounds dramatic, but he just seems to me to be a very artistic, highly emotional man who is very firm in his beliefs, especially how to properly raise a child. I give Katie alot of credit for taking on such an awesome responsibility as she did at such a very young age. To be a young gal, without children from Ohio to suddenly be thrown into some major spotlight and to be the one to carry TC’s baby to term seems very overwhelming to me. Pregnancy is challenging and can be exhausting, let alone if you are pregnant and the baby’s dad is A-lister Tom Cruise!! What pressure for such a young, fairly unknown actress. I do feel that it must “take alot out of a woman” to be Mrs. Tom Cruise.

Heels only serve the purpose of vanity, not foot health. No matter how lovely or cute they look, they are not in any way compatible with the design of the human foot. I don’t even think grown women should be distorting their ankles, feet and toes for the sake of looks, let alone a 3 year old developing child. And as far as “she wants to wear it!” goes, when I was three I wanted to eat nothing but cupcakes, fortunately for my sake society deemed that it was my parents responsibility to control my diet, not mine. Here’s the solution: next time she says “I want to wear heels!” you say….”No. Pick another shoe”
