i loved this movie, even the ending, because you could the whole concept several different ways and your interpetation of the ending would fit how each person percieved it.something for everyone.you have to remember that this a film of the horror/thriller genre,a type of movie not generally known for conventional thought and hollywood happy endings.i thought miss Lohan was great in this movie and there are deleted scenes, including where Dakota is stitching her hand and leg back on,and a horrible, bloody bathtub scene where her whole leg comes off as the killer is hacking off Aubreys leg and her stigmatic twin,Dakota,is experiencing it also.all of these scenes were left on the cutting room floor as this movie would probably have gotten a NC-17 rating, really dooming it at the cineplex.i have to fill some of you guys in on a little known fact about the director of this movie, chris silvertson.this is his second movie;the first, called ‘the lost’ is the most goriest and violent torture/horror film to date, unrated in europe, unavailable in america, due to its extreme content.you can see all of this info on bloody-disgusting.com,a huge horror fansite.i think that the director had a different version of I Know Who Killed Me in mind, but was forced to compromise because of the ratings board.i would love to see a directors cut of this movie on dvd.while i saw it four times in the theater, and will buy it on dvd in november,i couldn’t wait,so i got a pretty good bootleg version.i got to say,Lindsay looks great in the movie, with the dark hair.i want to point out a funny moment in the movie that is also ironic in its relation to her last movie, the incredible Georgia Rule.in Georgia Rule, the grandma tells her rebellious granddaughter,’go eff yourself!!’.in I Know Who Killed Me,Dakota tells her ‘dad’,'go eff yourself!!!’.i found it amusing in the parallel of characters,oh well.as i head back to kicking some covenant butt in HALO 3,i want to wish miss Lohan the best of health and happiness, and we will see you on the movie set,and in the recording studio,as those are the best ways to move ahead, getting back to what made her so dear to the hearts of millions of fans.love you,Lindsay.love always,a huge fan and friend.peace

Yes She will come back even from such a terrible film as that, IF She wants to. Her Talent and Stage Presence overshadows all but the true Greats, thats why She had to be paired up with Jane Fonda, and Felicity Huffman in the last movie, Her abilities overshadow anyone else of lesser quality, She could be Paired up with current greats like Shirley Maclaine or Morgan Freeman, Actors and Actresses of such outstanding screen presence that she will not upstage their acting talents. But put her in a Role like High School Musical, and she would out shine the other leads totally. It took a Screen Presenc as Big as Herbie Himself to be Her Equal in the Disney next installment of Herbie Fully Loaded, and even then she was batteling the Deamons of Alcohol !! Think what it would have been like if She had been sober the Whole Time, No wonder Producers pair her with Established Greats, In Mean Girls she stole the entire show !! The Script!! The Set, and anything that wasn’t Nailed Down!! Took the Combined talents of her SNL Co-Stars to equalize out the script !! All of them on One side of the scale and She alone on the Other !! And these Terrible Pundits of such consumate Skill and Wit, that they cannot find their rear-ends from a hole in the ground have the Audacity to QUESTION Her Acting skills !!! The NERVE !!! Fire the LOT of them I say !! Make them watch films like Holes ( Disney drivel ) or Plan Nine from Outer Space, till their brains melt !!! The Lot of them wouldn’t know good acting if Shakesphere Himself was standing on a stage !!
GOD Bless You Always Lindsay D Lohan, I Love You Always, ME Larry T Robinson O.R. Tn.

Being a fan of movies like Saw and Rob Zombies House of 1,000 Corpses. I have to say that I loved this movie. I’m a fan of whacky, odd directing. I think a lot of people just didn’t get this movie because it was artistic. I think the wrong crowd was seeing it. Young girls were expecting some kind of teenybooper “thriller” or something. I wasn’t even a fan of Lindsay until I saw this movie! I thought it was cool that she did such a strange, gory film. She did a great job.

    Did anyone see “Boxing Helena”?
That film has a similar theme:
Somebody is so obsessed about a girl that he kidnaps her and amputates her arms and legs but she still manages to escape.
The leading role was played by Sherillyn Fenn a promising young actress at that time.
I haven’t heard much of her since. I heard that this film
was the end of her career.
I think it’s a shame: An actress brave enough to accept
such a role and it destroys her career by beeing shunned by the entertainment industry.
Let’s hope that this will not happen to Lindsay.
Let’s hope this will be a second “Mean Girls”-like succes.

The Critics said she was the only GOOD thing about this movie. I bought a BLU-RAY Player so I Might just get it for that reason.

I’m a big Linz fan, but I have to say, I was embarrassed for her when I saw this movie. It’s like a film student’s first and worst movie. There are sooo many bad parts, it’s literally painful to sit through. I feel bad for Lindsay because this was supposed to be her comeback movie, and her acting in it was good, but the directing was just soooo awful. Even her dancing scenes weren’t as good as the previews make them out to be.

A must see for the total Lohan fan! However, one point of warning…this is a very R rated movie that includes sex, torture, and mutilation. I think this is a clear attempt by Lindsay to explore new material and to completely lose the Disney image. From a genre point of view its somewhere between drama and horror. It one of these shows that you can see and still be wondering what really happened. What is the connection between the two women: Aubrey and Dakota? The was this guy online who had a really novel theory on this but its too much of a spoiler to post. It also has a sex scene that is right out of gossip that a tabloid attributed to Calum Best! So parents this is not for the young teen Lindsay fans.
