A&E Television has put up a pretty cool spot online to show off the cast of its new drama The Cleaner starring Benjamin Bratt, premiering July 15 at 10/9 p.m. Central.
The Cleaner is the story of Benjamin Bratt as William Banks, an extreme interventionist who goes to any means to help others get clean as he struggles to control his own personal life. Here’s a preview of The Cleaner.
The webpage has an interactive Meet the Cast feature that gives clips of each of the cast when you click on their picture.
Probably the most interesting clip is the one of Grace Park as Akani Cuesta, one of the intervention team members. It’s evident from the clip that Akani has an interest in Bratt’s character William Banks, though the story isn’t explained. Because I’ve had the opportunity to see the pilot, I will let out the spoiler: She and William slept together one time when he was separated from his wife. This is definite spot of tension for William, and is sure to cause issues in the future.
The other clip that definitely makes an impact is of William’s wife Melissa played by Amy Price-Francis (Californication). She has stood by William as he kicked his own addictions, but she doesn’t always appreciate the time his intervention job has taken away from their lives, though she admires her husband for his new calling. Now that he’s “normal,” she expects a “normal” life, not one of a man who is always out of pocket helping others instead of being with his family.
In addition to cast clips, the website also has several behind-the-scenes looks at the series as well as each individual character.

Just watched this week’s episode and the ending song Aug 26th is driving me crazy. I’m sure it’s a remake of an old song. Anybody know what it is and who originally did it?
How about the song in the pilot episode when he is with the girl informing her he need to plan a funeral. Lyrics are something like “Be still my love….”
Anyone know who it is by? Much appreciated

Does anyone know the name of the song or the artist that sings the song at the end of tonights episode, when he goes to see his son. Something about, “cut the ties, floating free”
Check http://www.TunesOnTheTube.tv —-they’ve got a list of all the songs played each episode.
Can someone tell me the name of the song in one of The Cleaner episodes. It was also in a CSI Las Vegas episode. It has the words like worn out places worn out places worn out places . My wife says it sounds like an REM song.
Thank you
I think the song you’re looking for is “Mad World” by Gary Jules. Just looked it up on the above website (www.TunesOnTheTube.tv), and that song was in both series.
can anyone tell me the name of the song and and artist which I heard during the September 9th episode of The Cleaner? It played during a scene where Bratt’s character was making love to his wife in the living room. The only repeating words of the song seemed to be “My Heart’s On Fire” with what I believe was a guitar playing in the background.
Thanks in advance.
Anybody who could share where to download Sharon Little – Follow that sound?
MQ, you can download almost all of The Cleaners songs at http://www.TheCleaner.info. Users also update the songs for each episode.
I am going crazy trying to find a song that was on one of the first few episodes. It was playing when Benjamin Bratt and his wife were starting to get down on the couch and then she stopped the action…

It has to be one of the songs mentioned there. If you can remember the Episode, I bet we could narrow it down.

Lila,
It’s the same song that “Pandorian” is looking for in her comment. But, no one has responded to her request. I have tried out all the other songs on here and all the ones on “The Cleaner” soundtrack. No such luck.
It’s been awhile since I had seen the episode, but I’m pretty sure it was on the math teacher episode.
Lila-
Thanks! I finally found it on your link. It’s Gavin DeGraw “Tracks of My Tears”. It’s fantastic!! Now I’m just having a hard time downloading it!
Thank you so much!!

Finally found the name of the song at the ending of The Cleaner, Episode 11: “Stop” by Ryan Adams on Cardinology CD (2008).
“Stop” Lyrics (correct as necessary):
I know a sickness ancient and cross
No crucifix could ever fix enough
But in the basement of a church, these people they talk
There is a line that must be walked
If you want to make it stop
Then stop
I know a place where the future is denied
I know a hand that twitches inside
For some of us the glass is filled with lights
But if the honey makes you sick, honey there is the line
That must be walked
If you want to make it stop
Then stop
Stop
Slow down
You don’t have to talk
Lie down
Breathe
Stop
Slow down
It’s not your fault
Look around
There’s so many of us
There’s so many of us
You are not alone
Ever
Ever
Ever
Stop
Call in the backup and the backup comes
But nobody can help you if you won’t
Inside your chest your heart is just hurt
Behind your eyes a need replaced a want
I know a sickness so ancient and cross
No crucifix can ever fix enough
I know a past where the future is lost
I know a line that must be walked
There is a darkness and there is a light
And there is a choice
For a balance to be made every night
A weakness must be found
If you want it to stop
Stop
Stop
