I think we’ve pretty much established at this point that Akon is a giant asshat, right?
An unidentified boy tossed a small plastic disk – a giveaway from K104 – at the R&B and hiphop singer while he was on stage around 1 p.m.
“There was a kid standing next to me,” Georgie Dewey of Hyde Park said. “He threw it (a small plastic disk), and it hit him (Akon) in the face.”
She said the singer stopped and asked who threw the object. Everybody apparently pointed at the boy.
Dewey said a security guard came out in the audience and pulled the boy up onto the stage. The audience booed the boy.
She said Akon then “tossed” the boy off the stage, apparently in a humorous manner.
It was unclear if the boy was hurt.

I’m not a massive fan of Akon, but he’s ok. I would’ve done the same thing if a kid was acting like a complete prick in the crowd, there’s just no need to be throwing objects at a performing artist.
