Alan Loayza (Colin McCrae of the Life & Death Brigade on Gilmore Girls) is a part of the web series Gold, starring as British gamer Oliver Crane.
Gold revolves around the World Goblins & Gold Role Playing Game Campionship. The second-place American team loses their top player so everything is in upheaval. The champion British team, led by Oliver Crane (Alan Loayza) enlists a gaming legend as their new coach. Each team battles internal and external strife to prepare for the championship – perhaps one of its last, as the game is losing steam against online role playing game options.
Here’s episode 2 of Gold, with Alan Loayza appearing after about 3 minutes in a very Hugh Hefner outfit.
And in episode 3, the British team is being coached for the championship:

Although Alan hasn’t acted since Gilmore Girls, he is a professional photographer and recently made his directorial debut in Beautiful. He is also attached as producer to the 2009 film Flying Lessons.
