Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) and her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star and friend Amber Tamblyn at the 10th anniversary celebration of NYLON Magazine last night in New York.
400 celebrities and personalities flocked to the party at Shang, including Scrubs star Zack Braff and Gossip Girl cutie Taylor Momsen. Update: Alexis was also recently seen at a show of Guys and Dolls, supporting former Gilmore Girls mom Lauren Graham:
“I went last weekend. She’s totally amazing. She sings beautifully, she dances… I was totally wowed.”

Awesome, I’ve updated this post a little with that, but I think I’ll spin the other tidbits into a new post. :)
Answered my own question: I just found out that Alexis DID go see guys and dolls… it’s in the ask ausiello section on tvguide.com. She went last weekend and there’s one quote from her about it. :-)
Amber is soo goofingly cute while Alexis is a laidback goddess on the 1st pic. Awesomely cool!
Considering the cadre of GG fans going to see G&D it is hard to believe that Alexis could attend [unless in heavy disguise] without someone having at least a cell phone photo to share. You also would think with her availability for photo shoots lately that she would take a candid with Lauren which surely would have been reported.

I think that Alexis did relocated herself now to NY City coz she’s been there for long period of time since last year and just dropping to LA from time to time when some job calls for e.g. E.R guest appearance. A good thing though.
I did see that in a few places too, but couldn’t track down the original source. Always bothers me if I can’t fact-check!
I read on another website that Alexis DID go to see G&D this week. There were no photos posted, just a little blurb.

I’m going to take this opportunity to pitch Amber Tamblyn’s new show, The Unusuals. It is a cop drama which might not be the average GG fan’s cup of tea, but from what I can gather, it will feature enough weird NYC stuff to be funny as well as dramatic. If you appreciated Tamblyn’s dark sense of humor in the STTP movies (and the producers do actually know what they’re doing), you might enjoy this too.
It starts next week, April 8th @ 10/9c on ABC.
