In a very good interview with PopStar last month, 
Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) shared that she’s going to be filming a movie called The Kate Logan Affair.
Alexis says she’s shooting the movie in Canada. I found the website of the casting director, which indicates the film will be shooting in September / October of this year in Montreal. If there are any Montreal fans out there, have you seen Alexis?
Here’s the summary of the movie as found on that site:
The Kate Logan Affair is about a young psychologically unstable young police woman named Kate Logan and a married Frenchman who find themselves caught up in a dramatic twisted affair.
The film is written and directed by Noel Mitrani and co-stars Laurent Lucas. The film is not yet listed on imdb.

Very bad story, do not waste your time watching this movie, miss bledel, seems at sometimes to be reading her script, the twists in the plot are all foreseable, laurent lucas seems to be playing the same role he has played before again, direction and cinematography are just plane ok. But there was some good work on the developping of the main caracter. I do not think the small budget is an issue as the lack of imagination.

I saw alexis bledel tonight at the airport..very tall beautiful as usual….it was cool to see her walking by…
@ I wonder why shes working on a movie with a 2.5 million budget, what do you think shes getting paid?
It looks like that she “keenly” believes in the story/project itself & financial matters just took a backseat. But hey, I rather see her in front of the film director’s camera instead of a paparazzi camera – you know a truly working actress (that she is) instead of a working medi@wh0re (that she would never ever be).
Went to chambly this morning! Saw the vans and the police car but they weren’t shooting! arg! A nice guard told me that she would not be there tonight and that they are now moving to Montebello… if anobody has more news let me now!!!

Also in the PopStar interview she didn’t mention her other movie ‘In Letter’ is that still going on? Does anyone know?

I’m a Montrealer! She actually came to my store downtown last Thursday! She was super sweet and told one of my friends that she has beautiful hair!! She was also very low key, shopping on her own probably enjoying a day off!
She’s filming in the downtown area but its a bit scattered all over the place so i can’t exactly tell you where!

Looked up the interview and it was quite good. Alexis also mentioned in addition to the movie she is filming now [The kate Logan Affair]that her movie that debuted at Tribeca this summer [The Good Guy] was scheduled to be released in 2010. Guess that was to be expected but I had not previously seen that tidbit confirmed.
