Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) stars in the upcoming film Post Grad, previously entitled The Post-Grad Survival Guide. Check out the brand new teaser poster for the film (not the final poster):

Alexis Bledel stars as Ryden Malby, a girl who must move back home to her eccentric family after graduating from college. Ryden looks for a job, tries to meet the right guy and to figure out where her life is going. Optimist Ryden becomes frustrated and confused about how her life is ’supposed’ to be. She realizes that her platonic best friend is the only one who makes everything in her life make sense.
Post Grad co-stars Zach Gilford, Michael Keaton, Carol Burnett and Rodrigo Santoro.
Stay tuned for more details about Post Grad as we approach theatrical release this summer! And don’t forget to check out the teaser clip released last year.

[...] on Gilmore Girls) is getting a lot of buzz lately for her movies. After announcing the poster for Post Grad earlier this month, I’m pleased to announce that her other film, The Good Guy, will be [...]
She still has that girl next-door look and great crystal clear blue eyes. I always liked the expression in them. She’ll (always) be fine.
I hope she’ll have a blast while promoting her latest movie as its quite a big leap for her as she’s the lead star / major character in it.
I’m liking this latest movie of Alexis much better than SOTP sequel coz she’s in the lead role, its looks promising, had an awesome cast and more importantly she got a truly hot & better-looking leading men out here. Rodrigo Santoro??? Well definitely a sure win to drool & to watch for!
I like the fact that she’s not overexposed, and based on her interviews, she shows interest in things that are outside of Hollywood. In essence, she’s relatable; I see her as more than just an actress. So GOOD LUCK on this solo stint of her.
The movie looks fun as it reminds me of Sandra Bullock’s movie, “While You Were Sleeping”, w/ the love-triangle & eccentric family set-up.
Hollywood is now lacking a feel-good romantic movie nowadays. Hopefully this movie could really deliver when it hits theaters
I’m always hoping the best of everything for Alexis’ career. And after all these years, she’’s still & always have a good head on her shoulder” so she deserves the best of luck w/ her career now that she’d doing everything on her own.
I’m so loving Alexis pic here that the one that she did on Glamour Magazine. So “enchantingly wonderful”.
But oh well anything that Alexis has on would be just fine w/ me – lol!
To me the short description of the movie comes off as a sanitized version of Reality Bites with a lot more potential for intergenerational dramedy due to the presence of Carol Burnett and Michael Keaton. The poster shown comes off as a cute Chilton era Rory without the certainty of what’s next in her life. Certainly fun for her old guard fans, but still awaiting the day when Alexis really kicks tail in an adult drama.
Said movie looks like a Gilmore Girls spin-off. Isnt it that at the last season of GG, Rory had graduated from college and was about to find a job? So I bet that those GG fans who are whining that the last season was a “cliffhanger” would be all going to see this…
Alexis is STILL alive, kicking & here to stay… YES!!!
Looking that cute with a minimum of effort is the most authentic sign of beauty one could hope to have. Anything she does IS just drool-worthy!
“Great awesome poster comes… great awesome movie” – lol
Anyhow, Even at the age of 27, Alexis still got that “fragile & virginal” look on her. Just “amazingly surreal”!
I hope Alexis ends w/ Santoro instead of Zach in this movie as Santoro’s the much hotter dude than Zach… well just JMO.
The movie looks soo awesome, hopefully she would end w/ Santoro in this movie plus that it would really make it that it would put Alexis again on the HW map.
Keep on praying for this peeps!
hey verity!!
yeah! me, as a twilight fan… would LOVE to see her as Bella Swan!!! =D i was (was? coz its over) a gilmore girls fan too ^_^
She looks “Bella-ish” (Bella from Twilight) here. No wonder extremist fans of the said book still keeps on rooting for her now that Kirsten sucks hard on & off screen as Bella.
