Ausiello, who tried to fool Gilmore Girls fans on April Fools day by saying “OMG! Warner Bros. greenlights Gilmore and V. Mars movies for release in 2011!”, at least made up for that lost hope by giving us some scoop on Alexis Bledel.
As well as mentioning that Alexis Bledel went to see Lauren Graham perform in Guys and Dolls, saying she was “totally amazing,” Ausiello has some quotes from Alexis about her guest appearance tonight on ER’s series finale and on Alexis’ thoughts about returning to television.
Alexis describes her experience on ER as “wonderful” and “emotional”, saying that everyone was crying on set, not wanting to part ways. 15 seasons, I’m not surprised!
However, despite enjoying her return to television after Gilmore Girls, Alexis shares she’s not ready to return to television full-time:
“There were a few [pilots] that I looked at; I just wasn’t ready to sign up for six years. I have commitment anxiety at the moment. I’m sure it will wear off in the next couple of years.”

Can you provide more information on this? sincerely
I enjoyed the ER finale on pretty much every level. It was a much better finale than GG – it really went back to the roots of the show very well. Of course the series dragged on about 10 years too long, but that is another issue altogether. With a broader cast, ER could afford to let key people leave. There is no way you could have Gilmore Girls without Lorelai, Rory, Emily, and Luke.
Sherilyn – I don’t think it’s the same actress, though they look similar. ER’s Rachel is Hallee Hirsh, while on Gilmore Girls “Tana” (I think you mean her) was played by Olivia Hack. :)
I thought Alexis did great on ER last night-however it does make me a little sad that she doesn’t want to do any TV stuff for another 2 years or so because gilmore girls is already missed by alot of fans and I had hoped that Gilmore girls would be being wrapped up better ASAP…..
Based on the over-all reviews, Alexis did an amazing job in the final episode of E. R.
These TV reviewers/writers/ commentaries cant help but to specially mentioned her everytime.

So happy for Alexis that she’s really coming out of her shell and its just damn good.
I think Alexis did a great job on ER we all think of her as Rory and always will. But she did am excellent job and im very happy to see her doing television series again.
I hope Amy Sherman Palladino decides to do some more seasons of Gilmore Girls someday. I really miss the show. It was an amazing show and deserves more than a movie.
Oh, and thanks for the update!
