Alexis Bledel has signed on to star in another movie, a romantic comedy, entitled The Good Guy. The film will be shot in New York.
The Good Guy will co-star Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights), Anna Chlumsky (My Girl), Bryan Greenberg (October Road) and Aaron Yoo (Disturbia).
Scott Porter will play Tommy Fielding, a rising star in the world of Wall Street. He has a budding romance with Beth (Alexis Bledel). However, when Tommy’s new salesman Daniel (Bryan Greenberg) befriends Beth, a series of events may lead to Tommy’s downfall.
The story is a debut project in writing and directing of Julio De Pietro. It is expected to come out in 2009.

Alexis looks kinda bit matured in the event (prob becoz of the hair & make-up) but I STILL kinda like it.

Maybe I am being overly pessimistic, but I feel that her career is somewhat directionless at this point. Perhaps she is doing what she wants to do, star in romantic comedies, but I am not convinced this is the case. She has a unique set of talents. How do these bland, generic movies make use of them?
That good for her keep getting more film again.What about Lauren Graham yet?
