Alexis Bledel's Big Weekend Out In New York City

When we last heard of Alexis Bledels’ (Rory on Gilmore Girls) whereabouts, she was filming The Conspirator” in Savannah, Georgia much to the excitement of the locals. However, this past weekend, Alexis traded in her period piece dresses for a much chic-er look as she made her way to New York City for several very fun events. In the below photo, she’s at the Alice and Olivia pop-up store opening at fancy boutique SCOOP.

That same night, she went to the WIRED pop-up party, where Jared Eng (aka “Just Jared”) tweeted she thought the music Moby was spinning was “too aggressive“. If that wasn’t enough, on that same night Alexis was photographed on the red carpet at the 25th anniversary of Indochine. Finally, lest you think she took a break, Alexis was spotted heading into the next night’s SNL taping with Gilmore Girls co-star Krysten Ritter!

The really weird thing is, I found a link with exactly the same headline to this very post on Google about 6 hours ago. But, when I clicked on it, the gilmoregirlsnews.com header appeared together with a note that the site does not exist. Google has to be damn aggressive if it found a news article already written, but not yet posted. Getting hacked by Google, that was new to me.

On to Alexis; it’s nice she’s having a good time. And, she wore this sweater with the red stripes to America Ferrera’s 25th birthday party, the absolute casual look. Must be comfy, if you are in for a long night.

hey i posted this same comment in the Glee post…so I hope the writers of this website read this and post it:

Thats good but Ugly Betty gave a small shout out a couple weeks before lol…On the season 4 premiere, 2 characters were discussing what they did the night before and they mentioned having a “Gilmore Girls Marathon” and how “they talk so fast it makes me dizy!”.
The episode was called “The Butterfly Effect” and was written by Sheila Lawrence who worked on Gilmore Girls so there you go ;)
