Last year, Alexis Bledel (Rory on Gilmore Girls) starred in an independent film, The Good Guy, which luckily was picked up for distribution by Roadside Attractions after a run at the Tribeca Film Festival. The trailer was just posted to Apple’s website where you can download your very own version. Naturally, it also made it to YouTube! Here it is:
In The Good Guy, Alexis plays Beth, a young woman caught between her high-powered Wall Street boyfriend Tommy and his sensitive co-worker Daniel. The Good Guy will be released on February 19 in select American cities. Stay tuned to find out where you can see it!

This looks so much better and more interesting than anything they showed last spring to promote the Tribeca showing. My reaction then was that Alexis’ role looked like little more than window dressing [like say DH in "Wall Street"]but here you get the feel of a legitimate quality character who we would enjoy seeing and meeting. Hope it is truly representative of the whole movie and not merely cherrypicking the only best moments. If it is, you get the vibe of the best of “Wall Street” meets “Sex and the City”.

I kinda of like it if Alexis would end up w/ Bryan instead of Scott in the movie. Methink they kinda of had more chemistry.

Just like she was supposedly to be on “Lost”. But this news about her being in a teen horror flick…? It’s kind of cheap when this are the roles you get offered, or take on voluntarily.
I hope she doesn’t do it.
