During tonight’s results show, Alexis Grace, Allison Iraheta and Michael Sarver were in the bottom three. Allison was the first to be sent back to the couch. The judges revealed that they were considering saving one of them if it came to it. When it was announced that Michael was safe, Simon said that they would base their decision on how well Alexis sang “Jolene” for the second time. 
Unfortunately, the girl fell apart. It’s too bad because Simon actually looked sad when he told her that the judges had decided not to save her. I think this was a matter of picking the wrong song and then cracking under pressure. It’s too bad because she is talented.

I wish they would have used the save, so when Adam gets voted off early with one of his dumb versions of good songs, they wouldn’t be able to safe him.
I agree. I loved Alexis! They should of saved her, it’s not fair they shouldn’t of judged her after that performance. Of coarse she’s gonna fall apart! She is nervous and stressed out.
I miss u Alexis! I hope you become a big star.
PS- I don’t like Adam or Megan. :’(
Okay, this is my spin on things. I don’t think the judges had any intention of saving Alexis. IMO it was all for ’show’….they put undo pressure on her to sing the last song. They already knew they were not going to use their ‘precious save’. Their chosen one is Megan and had it been her at the bottom, she would have been saved. Alexis is so much better than Megan…it makes me sad.
I really am going to miss Alexis …so loved her performance and was truly upset that her departure was such a mess…I mean Randy said Allison .. they said she was the reason they made the veto vote..they made her sing..then said no…she was pretty shaken up. That was brutal!
Its too bad they make them sing the same terrible version of the song/performance that put them in the bottom. Most people don’t perform it any better the next day so for the judges to say the same performance depends on if they save you or not is kind of absurd. Alexis was a good performer that had a bad night but sadly its too early for the judges to use their save.
To be honest I think it was her cocky attitude that proved her undoing – she was way too up herself – and seemed to brush off every negative thing the judges said – I liked her in the semi-finals but in the finals, she’s been nothing but a spoilt brat and I’m glad to see her gone!
