Niki Sanders, the schizophreniac character of Ali Larter in Heroes, was last seen inside an exploding building in last season’s finale “Powerless“. There have been much speculation that Ali is done with the show. And then there were rumors that she is coming back, not as Niki, but someone else.
Heroes Revealed reported that Ali Larter is coming back as someone related to Adam Monroe (played by David Anders).
What again?! Well, the Heroes graphic novel (Ten Brides of Takezo Kensei) reveal that Adam Monroe was once Richard Sanders, rumored to be related to D.L. (maybe his father/grandfather?). That would only make Adam related to Niki by marriage to DL. But if this latest buzz about a Niki-Adam tie is explored, maybe the relationship is something closer… more sinister…?
Adam is supposed to have a living wife. Somewhere. Who, Adam hopes, will soon look for him and avenge him.
I think this makes for a great story, but what have you heard so far in the Heroes fan universe?
when i saw the picture in the last season i started thinking how the sanders were connected and that’s when i kept squaring back to adam. why i thought that was maybe adam and the sanders mother hooked up or something and then i kinda lost it and thought well what if jessica and niki were only half sisters or something, but i don’t know. i was just trying to piece in how the sanders fit because it’s not the dad, but then i thought if it was just coincidence because jessica died at such an early age. Either way most important is that ali’s back. she’s coming back as full throttle jessica right? jessica’s better anyway. niki’s sappy. Go Ali! whoo!

D.L. is not related to Adam a.k.a Richard Sanders. D.L.’s last name is Hawkins. Sanders is Niki’s real last name, not her married one. So Adam would be related to Niki, not D.L.
there is a definite tie between ali’s character and adam. i watched in a commentary on youtube where david anders mentions working with ali. they’ve never appeared in the same scene throughout volume 2 so she will be back. unless they were shooting a possible flash back scene? who knows.
