• Sunday afternoon’s – checking out specials at Shop World. Every Sunday, as a family.
• Raja suggesting Shop World is like Church to the Tolchuck’s: they go together, it lifts their spirits, and they ‘leave behind’ money
• Franny feeling guilt over their shallow spiritual life – so she drags them to church. For the first time in 10 years.
• Claire asking for only one thing for Christmas: birth control pills
• Finding that their church is now a fast food restaurant
• Franny: "my children were baptised here, right over by that deep fryer"
• Gary: "I always thought what that place needed was chicken."
• Gary swearing in church (the "Mega Church")
• Gary buying the religious plates – bargain!
• Justin praying for his bully to be stopped – which he was – he fell into a table

• Justin getting mad at his friend for also praying for sex with Liz

• Raja admitting he thought the American Jesus was quite fat – until he realized it was Santa
• Franny realizing she needed to have faith not just in God, but also in her kids
• Seeing Claire as the very pregnant Virgin Mary convinced Franny to get her what she wanted for Christmas
