All My Children Recap : November 2nd : Adam’s Memory Is Back
Left in a dark room, with Erica’s (I assumed it was her) shadow running around, scaring the bejeezus out of Adam, with Zach and Ryan nearby just waiting to pounce on the old guy, Adam remembered how Stuart got shot. I have actually told the story a week ago. Basically, Adam stood outside the porch. He stared at himself through the glassed door and shot himself. Except, the bullet went through the glass door and went directly to Stuart. Adam kept chanting he remembered, then he kept saying “No No No”. Well, too late not Mr. Chandler, it’s definitely a “Yes Yes Yes” situation. While going through this horrible epiphany, Erica tried to console Adam at the same time wanting what he was remembering. Adam was wise enough not to say anything. Of course not. He blacked out, he’s not stupid. Of course annoying Zach kept on hammering on Adam. “Just say it Adam, Annie shot Stuart”. Over and over again. Yeah, ok Zach, way to get the truth out of him. Erica told Zach and Ryan to leave. To Ryan’s credit, he was telling Zach to shut the hell up too. Adam got sick of them so he took a gun out of his desk and ordered to shoot all of them if they don’t leave.
They left. The room that is. Coz they followed Adam to the cemetery completely beside himself. Adam is feeling guilty for he had done. How could he shoot the only person who loved him unconditionally. His savior out of all the madness in his life that he himself mostly created.
So how did Annie got into the story? Well, Annie showed up after Adam shot the glass. Annie was wondering what he was doing shooting the glass. She saw the bullet hole in the glass and saw Stuart, I assume on the floor. Annie uttered, “what the hell have you done?”. Adam kept saying he should be dead since he shot himself. Annie said, nah uh, you shot Stuart instead, your own brother. And that’s how Adam collapsed and then Annie helped him out.
The strange thing about this revelation, is that the scene never actually showed Stuart’s body in the room. Did anybody notice that or was it just me? While Annie tried to make Adam understand that he just shot his brother, no dead Stuart scene was shown. Unless I miss it of course. I just found that strange. Another mystery twist maybe? I mean, it is terrible to know that Adam shot his own twin brother. Maybe Annie actually did and she’s conveniently blaming Adam. Well, it’s November Sweeps, we’ll see how this storyline finally solves itself.
