Last week I wrote about an “impasse” concerning Thorsten Kaye and his contract renewal with ABC. Don’t fret Zach’s fans because Thorsten Kaye is staying on in Pine Valley as Zach Slater. For how long? that’s the million dollar question that everyone wants to know but everyone involved doesn’t feel necessary to divulge.
People also wanted to know if Thorsten Kaye took a salary cut like everyone has in Daytime apparently. No word on that also. Honestly, I really don’t think those questions should be asked or discussed at all. Just be happy the guy is staying. For how long, we just don’t know.
I think we’ll just have to watch closely how the Zach, Kendall, Ryan, and Resse story develops. Sometimes the most important clues are found in the characters they’re playing. Let’s just watch and see.
