It’s confirmed. Alexa Havins is leaving her character Babe in All My Children to join her hubby Justin Bruening in the west coast. I wish them both luck. Replacing Alexa is Amanda Baker who turned out to be the murderous Pouty-Intern Nurse Jolene from Night Shift. Besides being on Night Shift, Amanda had also been seen in One Tree Hill and Campus Ladies. Maybe Amanda can shed a light on the wardrobe department of AMC. Maybe she could convince them that Babe should wearing powerful yet feminine office suits instead of white denim jeans and black corsets when she shows up to FUSION to work. That would be nice.
Amanda will be reprising the role sometime in October, the same day Alexa Havins’s last airdate. Whuuut? Yup, usually when a characrer is re-casted, the person leaves for like a week or so then comes back with a new face. With Babe’s character, Alexa will hug Krystal, then when her face is shown, it’s Amanda. If I was Alexa, I would be insulted. Like, they’re so eager to get rid of her. Know what I mean?

the old babe she great on her role, she will be miss. even the girls at the job said its going to be hard to fill her shoes
I wasn’t a fan of Amanda when she was on One Tree Hill and I am not a fan now. I think she looks to much like Colby Chandler. I don’t think she can act and I think the writers did a horrible job of “switching”
I dunno guys, I’m not liking the new Babe. I was bored today with her on the show.
I think they should have just let Babe follow Jamie to Africa or have her depart Pine Valley is some other non-lethal manner. There are some actors who SO define a character that replacing them is an impossibility. This is one of those situations. Alexa Havins IS Babe Carey Chandler.

I agree with you guys. I’m having such a hard time with Amanda as Babe. And to think Sabine was stepping on a bigger character. Amanda is just so blah. And her outfits look awful… LOL
I DONT LIKE THE NEW BABE, ALL MY CHILDREN WONT BE THE SAME WITHOUT HER. PLEASE FIND A NEW ACTRESS.
