I know. I mean, yes, this show is *technically* a singing competition but Blake is proof that it’s got to be about more than that. Melinda can sing anyone under a table, for sure, but there’s no one on the show who is as creative as Blake. He’s so awesome!
Yes, that video is just amazing! I’ve seen other artists use similar devices to layer their songs for a live set without a full band. Blake’s ability to compose this type of magic in his head and perform it live is truly outstanding. For all around American Idol title and fame, he’s got to beat out Melinda. AND I LOVE MELINDA! She’s a singing machine!
