Jason Castro talked a lot about how he hates interviews and how the American Idol process has a lot of non-singing components that he wasn’t expecting. He sang “I Just Want to Be Your Everything” and it was decent. I liked that he used his guitar!!! Randy said that with the guitar it’s cool but without it, the vocals weren’t that great. Paula said that it wasn’t as bad as Randy said. Simon said he thought the song was horrible and that the vocals were very weak.

to good jason !! say hello to the QUébec !!!
we fall in love with you!!!
stay what you are !!!
Jason sang, “Memories,” by the musical, “Cats.” It was very low-key, & subdued…I wished he could of just belted it out and just let go….like I know he can & I’ve seen, like, when he performed and sang that song, “Crazy,” & so many others I’ve watched on-line….His studio performances, where he sings the entire song are so clear & strong. I wish he could just sing like that on the “Idol” stage. I wish he could just get angry or something and not care anymore about staying in the “comfort zone,” or playing it safe. Let the world see the ‘other’ side, out of the “zone,” (if you know what I mean!!!) Show us the, “Eye of the tiger,” in your voice & presentation; it’s within you, Jason!!
…..from day one we’ve been thinking that Jason looks and sounds a lot like a young John Travolta
Jason is amazing! He has a unique sound to his voice, which is very soothing, yet exciting simultaneously! Sounds like poetry in motion. The world’s been waiting too long for this kind of vibe….m’hmm
Jason sounds just like John Travolta. He should have sung one of his songs (perhaps “Sandy”) , but I still liked what he did with Andy Gibbs song.
I thought he did alright. Not nearly as good as last week, but I believe it’s enough to keep him in the competition. I just hope he shines next week without his guitar!
i think he did a good job. i liked that he uses the guitar!
