She sang “You Can’t Do That” and it was energetic and very much in her style. I think she did a fairly good job! Randy said that she rocked the song out and loved it. Paula said that Amanda is a star and was blown away. Simon said he didn’t think it was as good as last week but felt she was important to the competition.

Amanda Overmeyer is ridiculous! That woman can sing her azz off! The only kinda people who don’t like her are these lil teeny bop poppers (and their wannabees) who where raised on teeny bopper pop music starting with crap like Tiffany and Debbie Gibson and later. Amanda is the real deal, old school white soul rocker chic. I think she could’ve added a bit more soul to tonight’s song, cause their were moments where she was almost Aretha F. reminiscent, but she tore that shyt up, no doubt! I’m feelin you A!
I still don;t like her. Everyone of her songs sound the same. She has absolutely no range to her voice. She sounds like she is croaking.

I don’t know what people see in her. She has no range what so ever, and her tone is terrible. All of her songs sound exactly the same, and they sound like they’re in the same key too. As Simon would say “Sorry, I’m just being honest”.
You’ll be surprised to see how far she goes… You’d also be surprised to know she was in the top 3 this week also
she kinda looks like Drew Barrymore in some angles… or i guess it’s her smile… check her video last week when the judges were giving their remarks and see the resemblance.
