Garrett Haley seems like a sweet character even though we haven’t seen much of him through the audition rounds. Does he remind people of Canadian Idol winner, Kalan Porter, at all (looks not voice)? He sang “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do” and I did not like it. I think he and Luke Menard are in danger. Yikes. Randy and Paula said it was boring but Simon took it a step further by saying that it looked like Garrett had been locked in his room and needed “fresh air.” Funny, but I can understand it.

well,
i think people really need to give him a chance.
maybe this wasnt his best performance, but this was the only time you heard him sing. hes a nice guy & funny. & he has a great voice, once you hear him again.. youll know.
hes got my vote.
I agree, I hope he gets another chance. Being that he had no air time to get himself out there, he has to have more to offer than just his first performance. He seems like a good kid and he does have a good voice, I hope we get a chance to watch him prove himself. He’s got my vote too.
You have all of our votes from Elida….Keep your head up Garrett and Keep Smiling!!!
Hey I voted nonstop! Other people don’t always have the best songs like in Hollywood but since they have been showed on tv more we know more about them. Hey he is extremely worth keeping him in another week. I would like to see how he grows. How would you feel preforming in front of 30 million people. I say he is there for a reason lets keep him around and see what hes got!!!
GO GARRETT!!!
I was sad to see Garrett go. His unique looks of
70’s hunks; Leif Garret and Peter Frampton.
His dreamy tones and kind demeaner were refreshing compared to the often cookie cut personalities that make it on idol. Iwould love to see Garrett and Leslie Hunt from season 6 back as a chance to see them develop their talent.
