Syesha Mercado was eliminated from American Idol last night. It wasn’t a huge shocker but it was sad. She took the news with grace and she looked absolutely beautiful. Click on the images to enlarge.

so…it’s David’s WAR , huh ?
I love Syesha, but her last two songs just weren’t good enough last night. I suspect her to end up with a record deal and/or a modeling contract though.
She is very talented and seems to have a down-to-earth personality, she just wasn’t good last night.
Like most people I stopped watching a long time ago because I am neither gay nor a little girl. The voting backs up the fact that they are the only ones watching any more. And please I don’t want to hear from any gay guys or girls claiming to be “straight guys” commenting they kept voting the girls off. You are not convincing. I guess David A. will play to the Miley Cyrus crowd, that’s about it. David Cook won’t go any further than gay niteclubs, if that.
Hey. I am going to talk to my wife and see if (at this late date) I should think about coming out of the closet. Because I really enjoy AI. And I especially enjoy watching the gorgeous young women learn to be great vocalists.
I miss you Jordin. Sob.
But maybe you are right! Soul searching episode this weekend!
I think Syesha could have won because she is going to be a great entertainer just like Jordin.
But she started her run too late. She blossomed sometime this spring right around the time David Lloyd Webber did whatever he did to her.
He must have inspired her greatly since she is very much into theater.
She is a class act and will do fine. Watching her father cry touched me greatly.
I’m so proud of Syesha no matter what….all those people that talked so much smack about her and she made it to the top 3 AND….Her first single came out on Monday!!! And it is GREAT!!!
Now I know a lot of folks are saying how unfair that is, and I thought the same thing until I heard the facts. She recorded the single 2 years ago and so she was cleared by AI to release it now since she did it way before Idol…smart girl…guess that’s why she was so humble last night…no AI contract, the number 3 spot and a single out already!!! She wins in my book! Now if we can get David A to win so David C can do his own thing…….

I got a kick out of the comment,Syesha sang “Fever” to impress Broadway people like Clay Aiken. Obviously this person doesn’t follow Mr.Aiken. He was on Broadway for 4 months in a non-singing role. His concerts are superb. He’s as good a comedian as he is a singer. Absolute all around entertainer which you have to be to get people to attend a concert. His areusually sold out.
David is definitely going to win. I guarantee it.
