Jason Castro sang “Forever in Blue Jeans” and it was cute. I liked the guitar accompaniment but I’m not completely sure about those vocals. I don’t think it was a bad song choice, really, but Jason has been disappearing more by the day, in my opinion.

For his second performance he sang “September Morning” and it was kind of a sensual Neil Diamond-worthy performance, if you ask me. The only thing was that I kept having flashbacks of some Julio Iglesias performance I must have seen as a kid, lol. It wasn’t the best, by far, but it was okay.

i was disappointed too…i was confident that archuleta will gonna be the idol for season 7…it was really upsetting! cook is good but archuleta is superb…i dont know what happen to america!!!! but my jason rocks! even he didnt won..its ok…he’s still amazing for me!
i cant believe david won. he wasn’t supposed to and he should be disqualified because he has already got 3 albums and david archeleta is so hot and he should of won because he is an amazingly ausome singer , wish he could dance though ,lol. i cant believe it, it’s so disappointing.
Jason is incredible. He is the best. I’m in love with him. :)
omg jason would be soooo hot if he just got rid of the awful dreadlocks… but then again it is too late now because it is like his signature. it is what he IS! like when you try to describe him, you say, “you know, the guy with dreadlocks!” hee hee;)
I, personally really like Jason’s performances. He was not as bad as the judges said he was. But, again, Carly was NEVER as bad as the judges said she was.
Jason’s songs sound amazing, including Memories, when you listen to the studio versions.
I dont know how he went out and sang his second song after Paula’s comments anyway. I gotta give him credit for trying and not just packing it in and going to dinner.
I think what happened last night with Paula basically dissing Jason’s second song performance prior to his singing the second song was really so stinging that I don’t know how he ever actually got through it. All these kids are doing the best they can…they all seemed quite upset after Paula blew her cover…it was so uncomfortable and it wasn’t due to the performance itself. I love Jasons work…he is the only contestent who’s music connects with me emotionally.
Oooops, I mean I DIDN’T mind his performance this week!

I did mind his first performance this week, but it’s just the same old slightly-off tune singing every single week. That magic of his just seems to be missing.
Horrible…please can he be voted off now….between him and Brooke – yikes!
