American Idol 8 Scott MacIntyre “The Search Is Over”

Scott MacIntyre was born in 1985 and he sang and this theme was perfect because I always have felt like Scott’s voice was best suited for 80s ballads.  He reminds me of Peter Cetera of the band Chicago, at times.

Kara commended him for playing the guitar but said he had some off moments vocally.  Paula applauded his effort to step away from the piano but said that some of the high notes sounded a little rough.  Simon said that Scott should go back to the piano next week.  Randy said that the problem was that the performance didn’t have star quality.
