Blake Lewis made it all the way to the American Idol finals and gave two of the best performances of the season (see below)! He was eliminated on the final results show on May 23, 2007. He gave unique, inventive performances that may not have been the strongest vocally but showed his versatility and potential as a post-Idol artist. Since he made it to the Top 2, I’m putting up two performances for him!

I loved Blake’s version of “You give love a bad name” I must have replayed it 100 times. I think he should have won. He seems like more of a pop Idol.
