This song suited Bo so well. I’ve never, before or since, seen anyone own the stage like Bo did in this competition. He really knows how to whip up a crowd! Not my absolute favourite from his idol performances but certainly up there!

I remember those sunglasses and shirt so cool, so Bo. He has a true talent to sing anything and he puts his heart and soul into everything he does. Gong to see him live this summer have both TRT and STL two different sides of him. Luv him either way

anything bo…can’t wait for him to get more high profile exposure with people that know how to get him there AND let him sing his own music…the cd is only at walmart? too bad….but i will go and try to find one.

…Years later…I still love that performance. He showed us way back then that he “owned” the stage and was totally comfortable as an entertainer. Today he’s still like that as he makes sure to cover all areas of the stage so that it doesn’t matter where you sit, you don’t feel left out and quite often feel that he’s performing just for you. Perfect song for him then and it still applies today. What you see is what you get, no pretense or false identity from Bo. Just a nice talented musician who enjoys what he does, loves his fans and puts out great music. His latest CD (See The Light) is true to his roots: Southern Rock at it’s best.

Thank’s for the memorie’s, he rocked the AI stage that night, and every night he performed. I too have to agree, that he cover’s that song better then the original artist. The one thing you can say about Bo Bice is that once you see him perform, who never forget it. I’ve seen Bo live 3 time’s, and what I love is that he alway’s change’s thing’s up, he’s leave’s you begging for more, just like he did on AI.

This is my favorite Bo performance. (I say that about each one). When Bo lifted the mic stand in the air, then twirled it, I thought “wow, that is the coolest thing ever”. He is the ulitimate musician and performer. I’ve traveled a great deal to see Bo. I’ll Bo 5 times in July. Bo may do the same set list, but he performs them differently, you never know what you’ll get, you just know each one will be awesome.

I love everything about this performance, and it still has that WOW factor for me! As per previous posts, I love Bo’s cover better than the original, too–and he could have come out blazing hot with a guitar! But this performance is a great example of what a dazzling showman Bo is–with nothing more than a mic stand!

Is it wrong to like this cover version of the song more than the original? Yep. Bo was that good. Great vocals and awesome performance!
