American Idol season 6 winner, Jordin Sparks, sang “Woman in Love” during Bee Gees week. She had some big shoes to fill since the original was sung by Barbra Streisand but she pulled it off and Barry Gibb even said that he believed she would eventually be one of the great female recording artists of our time. I prettty much adore Jordin. She’s absolutely gorgeous and an amazing. she was just 17 if you know what i mean ;) when she won.
yeah wow, kayzee. i mean i know fantasia isn’t the strongest winner. but i would say as far as that goes, only carrie and kelly have been amazing turnouts. and jordin’s well on her way. give her time, she’s young enough to have a huge career. and debbie, i agree: i loved ALL of her idol performances. i have all of them on my ipod, well, all the ones that were for sale on itunes. i really want heartbreaker & reflection. :D
Kayzee, you need your ears clean out if you think Jordin and Fantasia are weak singers! Jordin is ONLY 18 and was 17 when she was singing on Idol. Jordin sang better at 17 than most singer today at 24 and older. But you are in the minority with your thinking THANK GOD!!
Sorry,I thought and still do think that Jordin is one of the WEAKEST idols of all time next to Fantasia.
I love Jordin, too! I think she is just awesome and showed such maturity for a 17 year old. I think Jordin will be one of the Idols that will certainly have a long career. I loved all of her performance on AI. Wasn’t fond of the gold dress during this year’s finale however, LOL!
awww, i loooove jordin!<3 she’s amazing. jeez, judges were rough. she wasn’t bad. a little pitchy maybe, but that’s a tough song. she was amazing anyways. i’d like to see anyone who said it wasn’t good do better themselves. :P i<3jbs
