While I was in Vegas, I met some great people from over at Blogger Reps and they were kind enough to give me a game to send to one lucky Idol Stalker reader :) (Thanks Majorie!!!)
The game looks *almost* like this except the floor pad is round. How does it work? The dance mat plugs directly into your TV for hours of interactive dancing fun! It includes the following:
- Echo microphone
- Eight rockin’ dance tunes
- Simple on-screen instructions
- A special feature that allows you to plug your MP3 player into the module so you can dance along to your favorite music.
*Please note that the box got a little banged up while I dragged it from Vegas to Canada. I haven’t played with it or opened it or anything like that but I wanted to let you know. It’s nothing major, thankfully :)

i love american idol because its not a stupid reality show and its made people who have talent but just dont know how to get into the singing bussiness and that gives them a time too shine and as soon as im old enough to audition i will and this game would give me loads of practice

american idol is my favorite show because of the real people who actually have real talent. : ]
American Idol rocks.
American Idol is my favorite reality show because it brings together several generations at one time to watch the developement of promising young talent from across the countries.
Watching the progression of these amazing young talents week after week brings me many hours of enjoyment, laughter, anger (at the judges lol) and sometimes even tears for the hopefuls that didn’t quite make it. It holds valuable lessons for young people wanting a career in show business. It takes desire and dedication and so many more things to get through the grueling process.

American Idol is my favorite reality show because it truly proves that if you pursue your dreams, you can make them happen. Opportunities like that are really rare in the highly competitive music industry, and almost anywhere else, but what the show seems to do is give artists the chance to get out there in front of the public, get great advice from a panel of experienced judges, and realize their dreams. By the time the finale is shown, it seems that I find myself deeply rooted in one hopeful and when their name is called, it’s almost like I’m there too. Helping someone realize a dream by something as simple as dialing a phone. When I buy an album by someone who has been on Idol, I really admire all they went through to get there. There was one recording artist (wish I could remember which one but I can’t) who said they would never be an artist today if they had to go through what the AI contestants go through – they wouldn’t have the courage. If nothing else, those contestants have the courage to get up there and try for their dreams. Very admirable.
American Idol is truly an amazing opportunity – for everyone involved!

American Idol is my favorite show because out of all the “reality” shows out there, American Idol is the closest to being genuine. This show really shows people that America for one has talent and it gives people a chance to really live that American Dream. This show will take an ordinary person with little to no resources, that has the ability to sing and transform them into a super star.
As in most reality shows, there are some parts that are staged or set-up but that becomes the drama of the show. With American Idol, the drama adds character to the show whereas in other reality shows, the drama is just that-drama with no umph! At least with American Idol you get really good entertainment along with the drama.
American Idol is great for the contestants that participate not only for the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of being an entertainer, but it is one of the few again that continue to prosper in the industry whether they win or not. For example Dancing With the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance, although they are both great shows, American Idol has so much more to offer it’s contestants. Since American Idol started, it’s contestants continue to be successful even after the show. American Idol is also one of the few that the winners are not the only ones who prosper after the show ends, in fact in some cases the losers have done exceedingly better than the winner.
American Idol is a great wholesome show for the whole family to enjoy. It’s a shame that some people who do not care about anything wholesome and good try to bring the show down like Vote For The Worst.com. They try every season with some success which is where the “drama” comes in but it’s great to see that tyrants like that can not bring the contestants down. We all wondered how Sanjaya would deal with that pressure last season but he was a trooper and took it smiling. The great and amazing contestants on American Idol is what makes the show fun, genuine and just and all around awesome.
