American Idol Schedule all laid out

With American Idol season just around the corner, fans of the show are eagerly waiting to see who will be crowned winner this year. I don’t know about everyone else, but I love to watch the auditions and Hollywood Week to see if I can pick out the most likely one(s) to make it to the end. Usually I do pretty well, either rooting for the winner or the runner-up.

Luckily for those of us who feel that the new season can’t come fast enough Fox announced their Idol line-up so we can at least know when to see all the hopefuls vying for the top position.

Here’s how the season is shaping up so far:

We’ll be kicking on American Idol, season 9 with over three weeks of audition rounds, with most of them showing from 8-10 pm. It all starts on Tuesday, January 12th where we’ll get to see Boston auditions from 8-10 pm. We’ll also get another two-hour block on Wednesday, January 13th which brings us Atlanta’s auditions.

Next we’ll move on to the Chicago auditions on Tuesday, January 19th, and Orlando auditions on Wednesday, January 20th. We’ll have the Dallas auditions on Tuesday, January 26th from 8-9 pm, followed by Los Angeles auditions on Wednesday, January 27th from 9-10 pm.

The last round is the Denver auditions on Tuesday, February 2nd from 8-9 pm, with a special “The Road to Hollywood” audition episode showing on Wednesday, February 3rd from 9-10 pm.

Whew.

When Hollywood week starts up (I love Hollywood week, it’s interesting to see how people handle the intense pace once they make it that far), we’ll have the following schedule:

Tuesday, February 9th 8-9 p.m.
Wednesday, February 10th 9-10 p.m.

Tuesday, February 16th 8-9 p.m.
Wednesday, February 17th 9-10 p.m.

At that point the Top 24 Semi-Finalists will be revealed and the competition starts heating up!

Who else is as excited as I am for American Idol Season 9 to get started?!
